Pearl is known to be the party place for the capital region. The music selection has such an addicting vibe that permeates through the walls of this lounge. Every weekend starting from Thursday, talented live DJ's that entice the most enthusiastic and knowledgeable of clubbers. As you enter it is very different from most popular lounges, its layout entails a lot of wood design and furnishing. Beverages are a bit pricey for college students or young adults. There are three lounge rooms; one widely opened room as you enter, the second is located in back that is subdivided with bar & DJ on upper level and dance floor below, The third is the VIP room located all the way upstairs. From experience the most alive day occurs Thursday night. One knows if they arrive after midnight a massive line that wraps around the block awaits them. This Restaurant and lounge comes highly recommended and is the place to be if your really looking to engage Albany's nightlife.
