Turning Point and Red Rose are actually the same place. Just ignore the sign outside saying there's a private party and don't worry about the metal detector, just march straight into the lounge. Red Rose is a hostess bar. There's happy hour from 6:00 - 8:30pm daily where your beer will run at half price ($40/6 pack). The place is closed from 8:30 - 10:00pm and then re-opens from 10:00 - 2:00am. Hostess girls sit at your table for $20/hr but you'll find they don't sit there too long. You're actually paying closer to $20/(15min) because they're sitting at your table for only 15 min out of the hour. This means that you'll have to get at least 2 or more hostesses to cater to you, adding up to $40+/hr. At the end of the night you'll have to shell out the standard tip of $20/hostess, $20/mamasan, $20/waiter. You'll probably get the best selection of cute hostesses at Red Rose since there are there are so many of them. The rates you see above are standard rates but the alcohol can be discounted slightly if you're a regular.
