Oak Rail Tavern Ellensburg

This is to "owner hater". First of all, youa re posting in the worng place, it hasnt been the Oak Rail for years. Secondly, your keys are your responsiblility, and having customers out of the bar past closing is the owners responsibility. 2 minutes to grab your keys can csot them 5 days of being closed and a hefty fine....not worth it for them. I suggest either learning to keep track of your stuff or calling your congressman, either way I think Club 301 (NOT Oak Rail) will do fine without you. There are many of us who will still be there and we won't forget our stuff before we leave!! MAD PROPS to 301, their awesome bartenders and their sicc DJ Troy!!!!

i dont car about laws or violations..but i do care about my night afterwards. my buddy left his keys there and when we went back after closing it was still unlocked so we stepped in and shouted for a response. just to get the owner running at us yelling "get out!"when we asked if he could get our keys he said no. come back in the morning, which isnt hard because we had to sleep in the car. i believe the owner has a rail road tie up his ass because it would have taken 2 minutes to grab them. but instead he was a fu**. so dont expect me to give him business ever again.

All I can say some of the bouncer's might be nice. However you got a JACKASS there that turns people in for drunk driving. And as a doorman/bouncer he knows who they are. And his mantality sux. If he ever got confronted by anyone he would RUN. And you really want see him s#*! ask if he prefers paper or plastic.

The oak rail is a DIVE - flooring is coming up, bathrooms diplorable, and the smell...OMG the stench. The hot water doesnt meet the 180 degree min. set for health safety by WA state, people urinate IN and ON the beer garden.

Seriously you spend your nights videotaping others having fun. You can try to prove all the points you want with your RCW's, but for someone who thinks that the cops aren't doing their job you should know that the law generally only works when it is working against you. As for those bars and businesses who have passed their checks. f@#% that. It isn't the end all end all of good or bad business. s#*! when I was a drug addicted college student I bought my cocaine at the Horseshoe. Now how can you honestly say that the Oak Rail is the wrongdoer and hold these other businesses under less contempt because they have "met standards"? Clearly the law isn't the only judge of right and wrong. As for the Rail the bar rocks and you should all go order a Titanic or a Blackout from the wonderful bartenders...then you too can get f@#% up and harass mr. videotapes pathetic ass. Don't drink and drive! But seriously someone needs to puke on him!!!!!

I think that everybody should just mind their own business. At the end of the day, Ellensburg PD, Campus PD, and Kittitas Co. Sheriffs are all meeting their quotas and some college kids are getting drunk--it's a win-win situation. I didn't make this world--I just live in it--you should do the same. Who gives a s#*! about RCW codes anyway? Everyone breaks laws and they don't care or they don't know that they're violating the law. The Oak Rail's a lot of fun, so is the Starlight, and I wish they would open Lilly's Cantina back up, and I have to say that the Palace Cafe is a great place to get dinner and pre-funk. f@#% the haterz, let college kids have fun and experience the college life.

MR. guy who wrote the review of the RCW codes obviously doesn't know how to have fun. Somebody needs to head back to church and keep living with his mom. The Oakrail is a fun place to have fun and enjoy ellensburg. Great place for CWU students. Dont believe this JUDAS who wrote the review before me. They are just upset. Who knows it could probably be a competitor of the Oakrail who is floundering...won't name names but lilly's cantina is pretty much inferior to the Oakrail now a days.

Oak Rail is THE biggest violator of RCW codes Atate and Federal laws in FIVE COUNTIES (those stats from County, State, US official reports). Continual noise violations, HIGHEST DUI rate is 5 counties, and responsible for over-serving alcohol and the usual problems stemming from that in our community.
