Get the Wings!
Kelly's has the best hot wings in town. It's not a pick-up joint; rather it's where you go to get some grub with your beer and a best friend.
Firstly, the wings are NOT coated in any batter/breading, so they're not super greasy. You actually get MEAT, not breading. They're meaty and deep-fried then presumably slathered in hot sauce then baked.
Their sauce is unique in that the staff tells me it's got a lot of butter in the sauce which is tangy (vinegar-based). You can't order many different temperatures or styles of sauce. You get one. End of story. The sauce is not a red pepper style sauce, so it's fairly mild. No crushed red pepper flakes.
The price is fair. And you get about 12-14 aroundabout for a "half" order.
