Race Horse Tavern Thomasville

DJ Rick is in fact the hottest thing since sliced bread!!!! In addition to his very interactive DJ skills there are bands that kick ass on Saturday Night at the racehorse. Cover is always $3 or less and the bands are good. Seems like a work in progress, but a regular rotation of really good bands is right around the corner. The bartenders are awesome, sexy, take no s#*! real women and there is a bouncer to keep broken jaws to a minimum. The Racehorse is a great bar and the owner is often times there to oversee operation. Definitely worth checking out if you've never been. During the week it is appropriately mild but wednesday's wings are definitely hot. Bottom line....the Racehorse is a good time if you are.

I've been to the horse several times. THE ONLY REASON I GO IS DJ RICK! He is hot, plays everything i want, and keeps the party going! Some of those other posts are more then likely guys who are upset because their wives get naked for rick in his booth! Get over it dudes! The Thurs DJ is old and does karaoke with like three people! If you want fun and some good times go see rick on a weekend! I love his attitude and his music!

Seems to me that Rick(bargandi) is way to full of himself and there needs to be a change at the Racehorse Tavern.Dj Silver Fox is playing more new music then Rick ever had.I like the fact that on Thursday you can go in and ask for a song and in 10 minutes the Dj is playing it not giving you some lame excuse like he'll have it next week.I think whoever hired the new DJ that their sending the Racehorse in the right direction.I say OUT WITH THE OLD AND IN WITH ALL KINDS OF NEW STUFF!!!!

The racehorse rocks on the weekend with DJ Rick. During the week it's just an average place. They have a lame old guy playing karaoke on thursdays, skip it the guy sucks... Go there on a weekend and join a fun party with good looking bar tenders and a way cool music guy in Rick. You'll have alot of fun!

I agree with what's already been said. Drinks are cheap or in line with other local bars. The reason I keep going back is to listen to Mr. Rick the DJ. He gets women pretty wild considering this is just a blue collar type bar. You'll hear all types of music, and Rick sings pretty well! The racehorse is alot of fun, but Rick makes it a party!

The racehorse is a keeper! Sure the bartenders are social and try to keep up with the weekend crowd, but the reason I'll go back is the DJ! He's a little older, yet smokin' hot! He plays games, gets people loose, and before you know it, you're handing him your bra or whatever else he might ask for! I think his real name is Rick, but not sure. Seems as if the party doesn't start until he gets in the "zone". Don't expect dance club tunes... He plays hard rock, some country, and a little top 40. He is worth the drive!!!

The Racehorse Tavern is off the beaten path between York and Hanover PA. Decent looking barmaids are attentive, and offer a healthy pour. Prices are in line for the area. The fun REALLY begins when the DJ calling himself Bar Gandhi starts up. He has the amazing talent of a singer / comedian / emcee... Women love this guy! You'll enjoy the harder rock, country, and some dance tunes. Girls seem to let loose around 11pm when the party really kicks in. The DJ and strong drinks make this biker friendly bar a place to see!
