Club Risque, Philadelphia

I have been to Risque several times. Typically the girls are better callibar than most of the other clubs in the area. The majority of the girls have invested in enhancing their natural assets, so if you are into girls with big boobs, this place is great. In comparison to Show and Tell, Daydreams, and Cheerleaders (along with some small clubs in Philly and NJ), the girls are hands down hotter than most. I go to these clubs with my boyfriend, and it's really fun. One annoying part of Risque for a female patron is that the bathroom is locked and you have to get a bouncer to unlock it. This can be really annoying after several drinks. They say it's for your safety, but it's a really safe place. It seems totally unnecessary.

So that's the good news. Last night, I had a TERRIBLE experience at this club! The girls, for one, sucked last night. It seemed like they had their fourth string line up all night. You pay a good deal of money at this club, and typically it is worth it (cover was ten each for my bf and me but is usually much higher with a headliner). The worst part of last night was the bartenders. We literally, no exaggeration, sat for over a half hour at a time with empty glasses. It wasn't that busy where it was even remotely understandable why we were sitting so long w/o drinks. They were so inattentive that we couldn't even get their attention to flag them down to get drinks. We were there for quite some time and probably would have had at least three more drinks than what we did because the service sucked so badly. We are heavy tippers too, so that wasn't the problem. The guys next to us were complaining as well.

Moral of the story is that most nights Risque is better than the other clubs, but the quality of the girls and the service has consistently gone down hill since we first started going here. Philly needs a new high-end club!
