If you want an honest barkeep or a place where you don't have to worry about your safety then avoid Jackie's and go to Scooters. You will always get the correct change and you won't get ripped off no matter how ripped you get :) The people are awesome and the regulars just embrace you like family that is unless you are a jackass. Go to Scooter's anytime. There's always something going on :) MISS Y'ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scooters is a place for everyone. If the Live band is to loud, your not ready to party. If your seeking a place to hang out with locals, with great music, musicians, and drinks, then go to Scooters. It's a Southern, Classic Rock aventure, and one your sure to enjoy. So stop traveling from bar to bar, and just head to Scooters on Friday and Saturday Night. Pool Tables, Great place to Meet new friends, or meet the ones you already know, along with having the waffle right down the road for that late night snack afterwards.

scooter's is a fairly nice little place....during the week. they have a great pool tourn. on tues nights. the tables are in awesome shape! the only draw backs are the pool tables are too close to the bar and hard to move around on the weekends and the band is a tad too loud for that kind of space. if you like a quieter place during the week, scooter's is the place to go, if you don't like having to holler to carry on a coversation with the person next to you on the weekend---i would suggest jackie's.
