Chan's Saloon & Eatery Pensacola

I must throw in my opinion of Chans, we started going there about 6 months ago on a Thursday night. We where treated like we was welcomed there. The band is great, the bouncers keep order and not aggressive except when a customer gets abit too rowdy, and the waitress are the best. We was amazed that being a large place how fast we where made to feel welcome and as Travan says when a "Chans virgin" comes into the bar "Welcome to Chans family." If anyone has not come to Chans because they have heard it is a rough place, it is not true. It is a great place to relax and hang out.

My review is of course going to be good. My name is Trevan, "Trip" to my friends. Apparantly, "Fred Thompson" has never been to Chan's. Reason I know this is If the "terrible band" as he said (BlackWater has been voted best band in NW florida several years in a row) was playing...the cover has never been more than $3.00. The only time it is $5.00 is Wednesday when it is "Drinkin with Lincoln" when there is FREE well drinks and Happy hour prices on everything else all night with DJ Superdave playing.

I went to Chan's because I heard it was a decent nightclub... Boy was I wrong. The band sucked (mostly due to their terrible singer) and the few women that were there were fat nasty rednecks. I won't be back. Also, it was like 4 or 5 bucks at the door to get in and then buy overpriced drinks. RIPOFF
