Emerald's Lounge Gainesville

I moved here from Crystal River,Fl and I had a few places there that I liked, Before that I had lived in Seminole,Fl near Largo,Fl there were a lot of very good places there to go being a tourist town. So when I moved here almost 4 years ago now I did not go out much. I recently started going out and someone recommended this place I have been there on Saturday night and on karaokee night were even the singing bartender :Lady there gets up and does a great job singing she sould eb in a band instead of working there lol. It is a very classy place and I felt at ease by both the people I meet working the bar there They were around my own age and we had a lot in common to talk about when I got there one day early to watch the Gators lose but it was a good night there anyway. I have never had a bad experience there and I would recommend it to anyone and if you have a date and want to empress her. So get off your but and go down there and Rock N Roll with me there!

Nice place. No hassles. Very few college age kids in there. Good music and a decent sized dance floor. Only real draw back is the beer selection is sub-par.
