The place to be in 1985
Oh man, this was THE place to be back in the mid eighties. There were lines to get in, lines to the bars, lines to the bathrooms and lines on the mirrors. Now the only lines I have are the lines on my face. Good times

Stabbing on Turkey Night at JJ Whispers(man dies)
Sorry I'm not sure why anyone would go to this ghetto club in the middle of the Ghetto, and have the chance to get stabbed and die , Plus the music and the atmosphere in this club is horrible

A blast
Classic weekend was my first time in this club and it was on blast...the music stayed riding all night and the bartenders were making sure everyone was straight...Hats off to the D.J....see ya for sure next year..

Dont be Scrrrrred
JJ's is not Ghetto. It is just a decent reflection of Orlando. I enjoy girlfriends Thursdays, a great spot to play in if you are on a serious budget. The people are usually cool and since they've updated the decor it has become a nice urban swanky spot to chill in. The bouncers are cool, dont let the lack of smiles fool you. If you are polite they will take care of you. Wherever you go in Orlando there will be riff raff of all colors and ethnicities, so you just have to weed out the good from the bad, take a couple of friends with you and a designated driver and have a great time :)

Disappointed
Over rated place. My grandparents nursing home offers better entertainment. I can think of a lot places better than this night club.
I feel sorry for those out there with poor taste.

Not safe, low class looking people and uncivilized employees
This place is good if you're looking for a fight or drugs. Even the location of the club is a dump. The bouncers at the door look at you like they're gonna beat you up. When you arrive to the place you feel unsafe, light in the parking lot is poor. Employees are not friendly at all. For someone in this kind of business you would thing they will have friendly staff and good comunication skills. I ended up taking my wife to Universal Studios City Walk

Neosoul
A few days ago, I arrived in Orlando (business) but needed to find a place to unwind. I asked many AA's for suggestion on where I should go. Each person spoke about JJ Whispers. This past Saturday, I decided to go to Whispers. Upon entry, the music was great. Not everyone can appreciate Sy Smith, Vikter Duplaix, 4Hero and Slum Village. For the first hour he played a variety of neosoul music (I was so excited). As the crowd started to increase, he started playing music for the residenct (Trina and other Florida based performers). I left soon after.

This is a great place to go to when in Orlando. The staff was very nice and accomodating. If ever in the area, be sure to stop by.
