Irene's Restaurant & Lounge Tavares

Started in 1975, Irene's Lounge is now known as a landmark of historic downtown Tavares FL. Located near David Walker Drive, and less than two miles from downtown. Irene's is the choice hangout for over 33 years. Irene was proud of her club. On Friday, Aug. 23, 2009. Irene passed away and the lounge was put up for sale. On Aug 16, 2011, Jason Lee purchased the club. After careful deliberation, decided it would be best to carry on Irene's name and the color pink, but with new traditions that’s will refuel Irene's as the new hot spot for everyone to enjoy. We added new entertainment and selections of beverages to the convenient drive through package store.
