Sportstown Billiards -

Sportstown Billiards was voted the #1 place to play pool in Orlando by the Orlando Weekly newspaper.  There’s good reason for this.  They have 11 classy pool tables, daily beer specials (no liquor) and quite possible the city’s nicest bartenders and clientele.  In addition to billiards, they also have dart boards, arcade games, foosball and several types of board games (complete with tables to play them on).  This joint has a lot of history behind it too.  The walls are covered with nostalgic, and sometimes humorous, décor and it is also said that the Dixie Mafia operated from the upstairs area back in the 1960’s.  This place is enjoyable for both the serious pool player and the trivial pursuit junkie alike.

Poor People Skills
The owner of this establishment is very rude. He picked the ball up off the table as a friend was getting ready to shoot because he thought he was going to jump it. Mind you there are no signs anywhere suggesting this is a rule. Him and a colleague yelled, cursed, and even threatened us. We left and don't plan on going back.
