2. What is the difference between a Basic Venue Page and an Upgraded Venue Page?
  • You can upgrade your Basic Venue page for a small annual fee. This allows you to pimp up your page and remove all competitive ads from your Venue page.
  • An Upgraded page is also listed in the same section as the Basic Venue page, but it stands out more because of the Venue’s Logo. Upgraded pages get more members to subscribe to their Guest lists and become Regulars.
  • Both Basic Venue pages and Upgraded Venue pages can be Featured on the Homepage if you choose to Promote them.
  • Both Basic Venue pages and Upgraded Venue pages can have Regular and Featured Events.
  • In short, an Upgraded page just looks sexier than a Regular page.
3. What is the difference between an Upgraded Venue Page and a Featured Venue Page?
  • A Featured page is featured or listed on the Clubplanet.com Homepage and throughout the website’s sub-channels.
  • An Upgraded page is a pimped out page that allows the Venue Owner /Manager to better attract more clients to become Regulars.
  • An Upgraded page does not get listed on the Homepage unless the Venue Owner / Manager chooses to do so by opting to Feature their Venue page using the Promote Tools.
  • Both Basic Venue pages and Upgraded Venue pages can be Featured on the Homepage. You don’t need to Upgrade your Venue page in order for it to be Featured.
4. Where do Basic and Upgraded Venue Pages get listed?
  • Both the Basic Venue Page and the Upgraded Venue Page are listed in the Regular Venues Section located in the Venue Channel.
  • The Regular Venues Section appears below the Featured Venues Section located in the Venue Channel.
  • To be listed above in the Featured Venues Section, you need to make your Venue page a Featured page using the Promote Tools. Once you select to be Featured, your Venue Page will always appear above the Regular Venues Section, and will also be listed on the Homepage.

  • Regular Venues Section is free.
  • Regular Venues Section is always located below the Featured Venues Section.

  • Regular Events have competitive ads.
  • You can stop displaying competitors’ Events on your Events page by opting to make your Event Featured.

  • You can promote your Events on competitors’ Regular Events pages by opting to make your Event Featured.
  • Featured Events are always displayed on competitor’s Regular Events Pages.
10. Why do my competitors’ Events and advertisements show up on my Event page?
  • Your Event page is currently categorized as a Regular Event (Free).
  • Regular Events also contain Featured competitors and advertisements.
  • If you want to remove the Featured competitors’ events and advertisements, you need to turn your Regular Event into a Featured Event.
  • By making your Event Featured, not only will all competitive ads be removed from your Events page, your Event will also be Featured on the Clubplanet.com Homepage.
11. How do I make my Event Featured?
To make your Event Featured, you need to:
  • Access your My Account section
  • Select Dashboard
  • Select the Event that you wish to Promote on the Clubplanet.com Homepage

12. Why are my competitors being listed above me in the Venues Section?
  • When you initially create and list your Venue page, you are automatically placed at the top of the section until another Venue is added. Then you get bumped down a position.
  • It is possible that a competitor has chosen the Bump Up option to list above you.
  • You can place yourself back at the top by choosing the Bump Up option.
