Kaskade Outshines Hollywood at Sundance

Many fans of dance music see the crossover appeal that the genre has and worry that it will affect their favorite DJ-producer's work. At the end of the day, EDM is exploding stateside, and no matter how you feel, nothing can stop it. Good thing is, even though celebrities are also on the EDM bandwagon, artists are not compromising their work - including America's Best DJ winner Kaskade.

The party that took place this past weekend at Park City, Utah's TAO nightclub is the perfect example.

The highlight of the weekend was none other than the set served up by Marquee Las Vegas' resident Kaskade, who brought along special guest Skylar Grey as part of the T-Mobile Presents Google Music at TAO, a party in confection with Marquee Las Vegas. Last Saturday night's event is still being talked about as it featured phenomenal music and a laundry list of celebrities including Robin Thicke, LMFAO's Redfoo, Wilmer Valderama, James Marsden, Danny Masterson, Aziz Ansari, Quincy Jones, Rashida Jones, Malin Akerman, Paris Hilton, Mehcad Brooks, A-Trak, Lil Job, Jason Ritter, Cassie Scerbo, Rob Mayes, Jamie Chung and more!

Yes, we know it is Sundance, which obviously brings in the A-listers year-round, but the fact that they came out for the Kaskade set says something. It's pretty fair to say that the TAO parties this week in Sundance were beginning to outshine Hollywood.

Kaskade just kicked off his highly anticipated 2012 residency at Marquee Las Vegas, and if you haven't been to this club yet, make sure it's on your bucket list.
