The holiday season hangover has finally passed, but there's one epic celebration that's taking place this Saturday night at one of New York City's epic nightclubs -
Cielo. They'll be celebrating nine phenomenal years of memories, parties, and most importantly, music.
Cielo was one of the first to break ground in New York City's now famed Meatpacking District, and after years of successful events that have brought in some of the biggest DJ-producers in dance music, they've cemented their name among the nightlife elite - not only in the U.S., but around the world. Last year they brought in the likes of
James Zabiela, Chris Liebing, Ben Watt,
Roger Sanchez, Mark Knight, and Nick Warren, in addition to legendary residencies by Francois K (Deep Space Mondays), and
Louie Vega (Roots Wednesdays).
"Cielo has been a labor of love from the very beginning for all those involved," says Cielo's co-owner and resident DJ, Nicolas Matar. "Everything we do is for the love of dance music - from the sound, hospitality, lighting, and quality of music, all are designed to provide a superior night of clubbing."
What better way to celebrate an occasion than by bringing in a talented leading lady in EDM that handles the sound over at house music mecca Panorama Bar? The one and only Cassy will be serving up all the sound, alongside residents Matar and Willie Graff.
Cielo has never deterred from it's goal and vision - providing an international clubbing destination for locals and NYC's visitors alike. Here's to nine more years of success and endless nights of groove-filled beats. This event is set to highlight the weekend in dance music in NYC.
