Kelly Osbourne may know a thing or two about breaking a sweat on the dance floor all thanks to her training from “Dancing with the Stars,” but everyone has had their share of nightlife mishaps.
Madonna's Material Girl muse was sent to a Miami hospital over the weekend after suffering a head injury in a
Miami nightclub, all thanks to a dance move gone seriously wrong.
“Long story short I cracked my head open then kept passing out,” Kelly Tweets to fans. “I have the all clear.”
According to her mother, Sharon Osbourne, the 27-year-old was asked to dance with an unknown gent, who attempted to dip her. Ballroom dancing sounds safe, right? Not if you hit your head with one of the DJ’s amplifiers, which is exactly what happened.
Despite sustaining a concussion and receiving stitches, Kelly is now back in Los Angeles and recovering.
“I just want 2 thank all the incredible doctors and nurses @ Mercy hospital in Miami 3 taking such good care of me,” Kelly further Tweets. “U guys really are amazing!”
