Would you be surprised if we told you that Miami was opening up another nightlife venue? While many use phrases like "highly anticipated," this time around it really does apply. South Beach's
Amnesia Miami will finally be opening up their doors this weekend with a special event Day 1 grand opening this Friday night featuring Bob Sinclar, as well as a
massive party the following night featuring a dance music artist that's known to keep the crowd's attention throughout his performance -
Joachim Garraud, who will be kicking off a residency at the club which will see him four times in the next year. Resident DJ, Philippe B., will be warming up the crowd before the headlining talent takes to the stage.
Garraud is also responsible for designing the LED visuals for the club with owner Gregory Boudou, and created an in-club recording studio within the venue. If that's not a big draw for DJs, we don't know what is.
Amnesia is the only club in the United States with this pioneering LED technology, with 3 moving panels, 2 fixed panels, and 8 LCD TVs to create an incomparable visual experience.

Everyone's been anticipating this 29,000 square-foot venue designed to perfectly fit a superstar DJ with an extended booth that features six moving LED walls. A 25-foot wide open dance floor will be featured, and even though it's a massive space for the crowd, there will also be 70 VIP tables around the nightclub.
So far, the club has announced shows featuring dance music artists like Swanky Tunes, Bob Sinclar, Taboo from Black Eyed Peas and
Felix da Housecat. These are some interesting artists to kick off their first month, but chances are they'll up the ante once the holidays are over.
While clubs like
Mansion,
Space and
LIV bring in the biggest names in dance music, there's a new player in town, and they're looking to top them all with their custom interior setup. Let the DJ bidding war begin!
