With the cool, crisp autumn season come the holidays, all featuring mouthwatering dishes that are certain to put your swimsuit body to the test. And while you may be tempted to gorge on candy corn, homemade pumpkin pie, or just anything with fudge on top, there are other means of satisfying your sweet tooth without packing on the pounds. When it comes to cocktails, it’s fairly simple to use alcohol and other ingredients as a means of recreating your favorite desserts. In the mood for strawberry shortcake, passion fruit mousse, or the more sinful chocolate rum treat? We have them all here. Iced Chocolate Cake Cocktail

1 oz. Frangelico
1 oz. SKYY Infusions Citrus

Combine in a short rocks glass.

French Coffee Cake Cocktail

2 oz. CAMUS VSOP Elegance
1 oz. Irish cream liqueur
1 Mint leaf

Pour directly into glass filled with rocks. Garnish with a mint leaf.

Strawberry Shortcake Cocktail
Who could possibly resist a hearty biscuit with a crown of fresh whipped cream and juicy strawberries? Sadly, this southern favorite could easily pack on the pounds, but that doesn’t mean you should give it up altogether. Skip baking and instead, head to your bar and whip up the tantalizing cocktail variation, which features plenty of strawberries and ice-cold vodka. Yum!

Strawberry Shortcake Cocktail Recipe


1.5 oz. Russian Standard Vodka
4-6 Strawberries
½ Lime juice
3 tsp. Sugar

In a tumbler, muddle the lime juice, sugar, and strawberries to create a paste. Top the glass up with crushed ice. Add vodka and stir well. Top with extra crushed ice and garnish with a sliced strawberry.

Passion Fruit Mousse Cake Cocktail
This tropical light, airy treat easily makes anyone drool, but you can still savor its distinctive, delicious flavor in the form of a trendy new drink. The Passion Fruit Mousse Cake cocktail tastes exactly like the real thing, all thanks to sweetened condensed milk, real passion fruit, and silky cognac. It’s never a bad time to enjoy a sweet escape.

1.5 oz. CAMUS VS Elegance
0.75 oz. Sweetened Condensed Milk
0.75 oz. Passion fruit concentrate

Add all ingredients to mixing glass and stir with no ice to mix. Add ice, give a hard shake, and strain into a coupe glass.

Licorice Vanilla Cupcake Cocktail
Absinthe addicts, this alluring drink is for you. Everyone knows that the controversial emerald spirit tastes exactly like spiked licorice, so it only makes sense for an absinthe-themed dessert cocktail to feature this spicy candy. Along with vanilla-infused vodka and crushed chocolate cookies, the Licorice Vanilla Cupcake Cocktail has something for everyone. Just be careful, one sip alone will only make you crave for more.

Licorice Vanilla Cupcake Cocktail Recipe
2 ½ oz. Van Gogh Vanilla Vodka
½ oz. Lucid Absinthe
½ oz. Simple syrup
Crushed chocolate cookies
1 Chinese star anise

In an iced filled shaker, add vodka, absinthe, and simple syrup. Shake thoroughly and strain into the chocolate crumbed rim martini glass. Garnish with the star anise.

Chocolate Rum Cake Cocktail
Hello, no brainer! The Chocolate Rum Cake is a sinfully delicious delight that’s already made with alcohol, so naturally, why not have it in the form of an equally decadent drink? The Chocolate Rum Cake highlights chocolate ice cream, fluffy caramel foam, and yes, rum with delicate fruit notes to balance out all of the cocktail’s mouthwatering goodness.

Chocolate Rum Cake Recipe


2 oz. Flor De Cana 7-Year Grand Reserve Rum
4 Mint leaves
1 scoop Chocolate ice cream
½ oz. Vanilla syrup
½ oz. Licor 43
Caramel Form (2 oz. heavy cream, ½ oz. liquid caramel syrup, and dash of cinnamon)

First, make caramel foam by combining heavy cream with syrup and cinnamon in a dry shaker until emulsified. Then, prepare cocktail by pouring all additional ingredients in a mixing glass. Shake for 20 seconds. Serve over chilled martini glass. Top with layer of caramel foam and mint leaves.
