Cocktail Hour: Fuzzy Navel Crush

by Stephanie Nolasco

When it comes to cocktails, there are some classics that will never go out style, even if they’re in dire need of a makeover. The Fuzzy Navel, a favorite among new bartenders, is popular because it’s simple to make and luscious enough to keep the ladies coming back for more. All you need is some peach schnapps and orange juice to whip up this old school winner, but fortunately, the recipe is getting a do-over of sorts. Van Gogh Vodkas, famous for crafting some of the most tantalizing flavored spirits in the world, is unveiling the Cool Peach Vodka this fall. Their latest creation features the ripe, juicy fruit and a refreshing zing of mint for a cool finish. There’s even some undertones of sweet almonds, which accentuates the sun kissed peach, making patrons feel as if they’re sinking their teeth on the real thing. For this week, Van Gogh Vodka is presenting their Fuzzy Navel Crush, which replaces schnapps with peach-infused vodka, silky smooth Triple Sec, and soda water for some bubbly. The result is so cruel-you’ll happily give up the Fuzzy Navel just for a drop of this exciting new bar find.
