It’s the weekend and all you want to do is embrace the night by enjoying yourself with a no frills cocktail-sounds simple enough, right? While bartenders throughout the country are becoming crafty with their potent creations, sometimes less is more, especially when crowds keep growing at your favorite hot spot and you just don’t feel like waiting for something you’ll sip in minutes. Fortunately, one New York City mixologist knows one cocktail that takes only a few seconds to prepare and it’s certain to cool off those thirsty taste buds.
Sami Silbert of Manhattan’s Whiskey Park NYC specializes in easy, breezy thirst quenchers and when we asked her about noteworthy recipes, she instantly mentioned her Sage Lemonade. As the name implies, Sage Lemonade is minty, ice cold, and it’s a more grown up version of a childhood favorite, all thanks to an added touch of vodka. Sage Lemonade also has a hint of spice that perfectly balances its sweet meets tart flavor, ensuring that any drinker will want more. Just be weary of who you tell this recipe to - it’s so easy that everyone will want to play bartender. Instead, let it be your secret to an amazing night out.
