Steve Aoki Comes to LAVO NYC

This month Steve Aoki is coming to Lavo NYC for the first time and he's bringing nothing, but high-voltage energy to this famous nightclub. LAVO's quickly becoming one of the most popular nightlife venues in New York City, and with bookings like this it's only adding more fuel to the fire.

Steve Aoki founded Dim Mak Records which launched the careers of Bloc Party, The Kills, Klaxons, MSTRKRFT, Bloody Beetroots, Mystery Jets, The Rakes, The Gossip, and so much more. Being a great DJ and producer, Aoki has remixed Michael Jackson, The Killers, Robin Thicke, Lenny Kravitz, Duran Duran, and Timbaland. He has also collaborated with artists like Armand Van Helden, Laidback Luke, Afrojack, Boys Noize, The Faint, D.i.M, and Junkie XL.

In 2008, Aoki debuted his first album "Pillowface and His Airplane Chronicles," which was followed by an Essential mix on BBC Radio 1. But, he doesn't just stop at music. Steve Aoki is also involved in fashion and has developed lines for KR3W Apparel, Supra Footwear, headphones for WESC, sunglasses with KSUBI, headwear with NEFF, bags with Burton and a brand new mens/women's range with his sister, Devon.

Recently, Aoki has released a music video for the electro-frenzied dance track "Turbulence" with Laidback Luke featuring Lil Jon.

Get to Lavo NYC early on Thursday, May 19th because you won't want to miss Steve Aoki's great performance -- and you never know what else he may have up his sleeve.
