Cocktail trends come and go (here’s to looking at you, Cosmo), but classics never go out of style. Sure,
“Mad Men” brought back the Tom Collins, but what if you’re looking for something a little more potent to shake up your night? Meet the Clover Club, a seemingly girly number that was actually favored by the finest gentlemen during Prohibition. Named after a popular Philadelphia men’s club, the Clover Club is lightly sweetened with raspberry syrup. However, its egg white ingredient made the Clover Club, sadly, a forgotten poison, at least until now. Today, you can order this refreshing elixir at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, which is successfully bringing back old school favorites for the ultimate cocktail experience. And don’t think for a second that the egg white in this gin-themed drink is a kiss of death. It’s actually a must-have for making a bland drink frothy and downright delicious until the very last drop.
