Katy Perry and Calvin Harris Exchange Tweets

Earlier today there was quite the exchange between pop-star Katy Perry and UK DJ-producer Calvin Harris via Twitter. Harris was scheduled to open up for Perry for a string of shows in the UK, however, Perry made it very clear to her fans via Twitter that Harris backed out, tweeting: FYI ALL UK & IRELAND SHOWS @CalvinHarris will NOT be joining in on the fun and has CANCELED last minute (sic)."
As soon as Harris noticed the Tweet he re-tweeted the messaged to explain why, tweeting: "Sorry to all who wanted to see me with Katy - her team suddenly moved the goalposts, and I was to appear on stage with no production.
"It would have looked s**t, and sounded s**t - trust me you would have been more disappointed SEEING the show than u are with me canceling. That's the honest truth."
Perry, clearly upset by the whole thing, quickly fired back at Harris' tweets with her own: "...funny the goal post seems to be perfectly fine for New Young Pony Club, Yelle, Robyn, Marina & The Diamonds to name a few."
She added even more on her next tweet: "....it's fine, I'm used to you canceling on me, it's become ur staple!"
Seeing as Perry's one of the most followed people on Twitter, this doesn't boast too well for Harris' profile.
