Temperatures in the mid 80’s, beautiful people wearing next to nothing, and a soundtrack brought to you by some of the most talented DJs in the world are some of the things that have come to be expected around this time of year in Miami; and as always, the Shelborne Hotel has answered the call of the droves of audiophiles flooding the streets of South Beach.
The Cadenza Pool Party at the historic (and recently and meticulously beautified and renovated) Shelborne Hotel in Miami brought Ultra week to a climax on Thursday, as those lucky enough to score access to the sold out party indulged in everything that Ultra week has to offer. The sounds of Luciano and Carl Craig kept the crowd dancing, even from the earliest (and most sober) parts of the beginning of the party and kept their heads ringing well into the night.
Evident by the standing room only crowd surrounding the stage, seen even early in the day, and reinforced by back to back to back dance battles intensely cheered on by the crowd ferociously trying to escape their everyday existence, The Shelborne Pool party lived up and delivered to the expectations that all of Ultra Week promised.
As the sun set it seemed as if there was a beacon screaming loudly into the night calling one and all with the message that the Shelborne was delivering. As droves of those searching for the place to spend their Thursday night, The Cadenza Poolside at the Shelborne was the right destination.
