La Vie Champagne Kicks Off the Weekend

While the majority of Miami has their attention fixated on this Fridaynight's New Year's Eve festivities, be they in downtown Miami or SouthBeach, there are some of us that just can't wait that long for a nightout. Seeing as this may be yet another long holiday weekend for us, the weekend officially starts this Thursday night. But since most of the nightlife dollars are being spent on Friday's big bash, you're basically stuck with run of the mill weekly parties and resident DJs for Thursday. One weekly party that's been gaining a lot of momentum has bee BED's La Vie Champagne, a hip-hop soiree hosted by Felisha Monet of 99Jamz and featuring the sounds of DJ Nine6.

It's hard to find a good hip-hop parties sometimes, but DJ Nine6 always delivers the goods. We usually don't vouch too much for hip-hop DJs in the city, but we'll go ahead and put our stamp of approval behind this guy when he's in the booth. He knows what the ladies want to hear, and usually that's a good thing for the guys.

This Thursday night BED is once again hosts the party, and you can bet your ass that it'll definitely be a packed house. Chances are that you don't have to come into work this Friday morning, but even if you do, it's one of those slack-off days. There's only one thing running through everyone's mind this week, and it's Friday night.
