New Year's Eve 2011 is only two weeks away, and it's fair to say that the real planning starts NOW. If you haven't thought of where you'll be spending your New Year's Eve this year, South Beach is on everyone's hit list. Not only are all the clubs preparing for their biggest event of the year, but each hotel is doing a little something of their own. With A-listers and world-renown DJs in town the entire week, there's one venue that managed to bring in two names that may not be a part of the same music genre, but will definitely haul in one of the biggest crowds this New Year's Eve.
LIV has been planning to pull out all the stops this year for their NYE 2011 event, and they certainly have by booking Jamie Foxx to host the festivities. It doesn't end there, Kaskade will also be serving up a late-night set (from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m.). That's right, for all the true party people in South Beach, the biggest afterhours event seems to be taking place at
LIV. While the ticket will set you back quite a few bucks, it is one of the top events in town, and it also includes an open bar, champagne toast at midnight, and live countdown with the man himself, Mr. Jamie Foxx.
This entertainment combo will be hard to compete with this New Year's Eve, especially when it's an A-list actor that has a few hits out himself. There are always unlikely collaborations in the music industry, but when it comes to nightlife we've never seen anything like this since Diddy vs. Felix da Housecat during Winter Music Conference back in 2008.
