There's a new act that's been creating a buzz overseas as well as in his native New York City. Brooklyn's own Theophilus London has a unique blend of hip-hop, soul, new wave, dance and r&b that gives off a creative and new but still old-school vibe. His prominent single, "Life of a Lover," features a nostalgic-pop backbeat (similar to a Black Kids track) which works well with his verses. He's got the hipster look that appeals to the Brooklyn and U.K. crowd and this guy knows how to work a stage, swinging the mic around and kicking up a storm. .
This Wednesday night, Snitch Wednesdays at
GhostBar, celebrates the 2nd annual Thanksgiving Eve party with Theophilus London. Wednesday night will be one of the most popular nights of the week. DJs 88, Dave Fogg and M!keAttack will also be providing some sound, just in case you're not into London. However, make sure to check out his music before you head over. We're pretty damn sure you'll dig what he's got to offer.
