One of the most unique events we've ever been a part of has been a silent disco. For those of you not familiar with the term "Silent Disco," it's essentially a full-on dance party, only everyone brings along their own iPod or MP3 player. This coming Tuesday night one of the most unique spaces in Miami,
Exit 66, will be hosting their very own silent disco in their pool area, while the party inside features the best in open-format.
Exit 66 isn't the type of club to bring in big named DJs on a weekly basis (much like its South Beach competitors), but they really don't have to. They cater to a different crowd in a different location, and their one-off events are some of the best in South Florida.
Cover for this events seems pretty steep ($25), but if you print the event page and present it at the door you'll get $5 off and a free drink... soft drink! The deal would probably sound a little more enticing to the audience if it included a beer or a cocktail, but it seems like you can't get a deal in nightlife regardless of the location.
