Apparently not everyone is welcoming Lil Wayne back to freedom with open arms. According to a source close to Drake’s entourage, The Wynn Las Vegas had no desire to have Lil Wayne in its venue this past weekend. Following a performance at the Hard Rock, Drake and his crew were scheduled to host an after party at The Wynn Hotel, but Weezy was a no-show. Weezy, however, did make a surprise appearance at Drake’s concert at the Hard Rock, where Mr. Carter performed alongside Drizzy and was adorned with screams from a raging Vegas crowd.
Lil Wayne must not have as many fans at The Wynn, as they were unwilling to grant the multi-platinum rapper entrance to their venue and in fact, insisted that he would personally be removed if he does show up at The Wynn. Representatives from The Wynn insisted that they had no personal vendetta against Lil Wayne, they would just prefer to avoid any trouble. Interestingly enough, under the terms of the Weezy’s probation he is restricted from consuming alcohol for the next three years, throwing a damper on any celebratory bottle popping that the rapper had in mind for his release from Rikers. But c’mon, we are talking about Weezy F. Baby, right? Apparently Wayne had no problem having his own celebration at The Palms Resort, who received him with open arms. Wayne was also welcomed back to Miami, where he currently resides, to celebrate his homecoming at King of Diamonds strip club with bottle reservations totaling to $33,000. Welcome home Weezy.
