The Best Cocktails in Miami

Miami's known for nightlife, and when a city is known for nightlife it may as well be known for it's cocktails. Everyone knows about the infamous mojitos that are made all over South Beach, but that's not the only drink that Miami's known for. Places like Purdy Lounge, Villa by Barton G and Segafredo have also put their names on the map by creating a unique poison behind the bar that gets more partygoers to flock to the nightlife destinations. We could go on and on about the notorious cocktails all around the city, but instead we've decided to highlight the ones we think are the best.

Best Cocktail in Miami:
The Sabrinatini @ Villa By Barton G
1116 Ocean Drive
Barton G has always been all about presentation. Anyone who has experienced this fine dining will tell you all sorts of incredible appearances that their meals come in, and their drinks are no exception. Their cocktails are made with Below Zero Nitro Bar that utilizes liquid nitrogen and manipulates the temperatures, textures and taste of the mixed drinks. When it comes to Barton G, there never is one signature drink, but several. To name a few, The Sabrinatini (Absolut Mandarin, Watermelon Pucker and Champagne, rimmed with dark chocolate and adorned with a chocolate chimp) and the Pink Elephant Nitro-tini (with an Absolut Red Vodka popsicle for swirling through ruby red grapefruit juice and fresh grapefruit segments) are real crowd pleasers.

Best Cocktail in Miami:
The Cosmo @ Purdy Lounge
1811 Purdy Ave
If you are looking for a friendly place to get one of the best cosmopolitans in South Florida, then Purdy Lounge is the place to go. Accompanied with great music, it is an awesome place to relax and chill. With drinks only costing about $10 - $14, including gratuity, you might not find another deal like that in South Beach. Their Cosmopolitans are unlike any other Cosmo you’ve ever had before.

Best Cocktail in Miami:
Mojito @ Nikki Beach
1 Ocean Drive

Always a hot spot to be at, somewhere you can run into celebrities and a place you can relax and enjoy a classy drink, Nikki Beach has so much to offer. With their signature Mojitos, garnished with sugarcanes as the stirrer and fresh mint, it is the perfect refreshment for the beach. On Saturday’s and Sunday’s it’s known that Mojito pitchers flow all day long. Don’t just take my word for it though, head out to Nikki Beach now and try one of their infamous Mojitos yourself.

Best Cocktail in Miami:
Cookies And Cream Martini @ Blue Martini
900 S. Miami Ave Suite 250

Signature Martinis like the Cookies And Cream Martini (Three Olives Vanilla Vodka and Chocolate liqueur and Cream served in a cookie crusted rimmed martini glass and an Oreo cookie) and the Sex In The City Martini (Van Gogh Blue Vodka, Peach Schnapps, Cranberry and Pineapple juice), you can’t go wrong by coming to the Blue Martini. Another must try is the Skinny Bitch Martini, which is less than 25 calories a glass.

Best Cocktail in Miami:
Caipirissima @ Segafredo Café
1421 South Miami Ave

If people watching and drinking are things you like to do, then Segafredo Café has the perfect mix of both. With delicious drinks like their Caipirissima (the right amount of mixed fruits and Botran Rum White served with Fresh Lime and Brown Sugar), you can sit back, enjoy your drink and watch all the interesting people as they walk by on the busy streets of Miami.
