The Best Cocktails in Las Vegas

Not everyone enjoys harsh shots of liquor pumping straight into their bloodstream. For those of us who actually enjoy alcohol for the taste, sip a unique concoction at one of these trendy Las Vegas locations.

Best Cocktail in Las Vegas:
Lenin’s Kryptonite @ Red Square
3950 S. Las Vegas Blvd.

Yes, this is the bar with the headless man outside. That man happens to be communist revolutionary, Vladimir Lenin, and he adds to the Russian influence that comes with entering Red Square. With a variety of vodka choices chilled at 5 degrees, drinkers can find their preference in Russian alcohol consumption. Martini drinkers are encouraged to try Lenin's Kryptonite. Not quite the same as a bullet, Lenin’s downfall comes in the flavor of Belvedere Vodka, Peach Schnapps, Sour Apple Pucker, pineapple and orange juices with a bit of Sierra Mist and garnished with a cherry.

Best Cocktail in Las Vegas:
Silver Whistle @ Mandarin Bar
3752 S. Las Vegas Blvd.

Sitting on the 23rd floor of Mandarin Oriental at CityCenter, Mandarin Bar offers an awesome view of the Las Vegas skyline through martini glasses. Featuring an extensive cocktail menu, the Mandarin Bar is approved for “Mad Men” who have a taste for the sweetest cocktails mixed by the gods. A fan favorite is the Silver Whistle, composed of Lillet Rouge, vodka, fresh watermelon, Italian Maresca cherries, silver dust served tall over ice with Champagne.

Best Cocktail in Las Vegas:
Chocolate Monkey @ The Peppermill Fireside Lounge
2985 S. Las Vegas Blvd.

For movie and cocktail lovers alike, the Fireside Lounge at the Peppermill is nothing short of romantic. Featuring very warm lighting and chic décor, there is a mellow vibe offered by Fireside for those who plan on taking the party to the bedroom following their departure from the Vegas spot. Fireside likely acquired its name as a result of the flaming pool inside its facilities where a scene of “Casino” was filmed with Robert De Niro and Sharon Stone. An interesting taste comes from their short martini menu in the form of a Chocolate Monkey. Made with Stoli, White Creme de Cocoa and Creme de Banana, the Chocolate Monkey is sweet to the taste, all racial slurs aside.

Best Cocktail in Las Vegas:
The Blue Martini @ Blue Martini
Town Square

With a name like “Blue Martini” it would be quite foolish to let this one miss our list. Located in the Town Square, the Blue Martini is a swanky setting for drinkers to relax and enjoy the melodious atmosphere. As far as what drink visitors should try, just go with the name of the bar. The Blue Martini is served with Van Gogh Blue Vodka, Citronge, Blue Curacao, sour mix and orange juice. It even comes with a glow stick so you can find your way around later in the night.

Best Cocktail in Las Vegas:
Tequila Moon @ Social House
3300 S. Las Vegas Blvd.

Regarded as one of the top restaurants in Vegas, Social House acts as one of the most popular sushi bars as well as a lounge, overlooking the Las Vegas strip. Featuring an uncanny view and amazing interior design, Social House offers a subtle spot for drinkers to try some its delectable cuisine, and a few drinks of course.  Highly regarded is the Tequila Moon, made with Patron Silver tequila, Moonstone Raspberry sake and Cointreau with fresh watermelon purée. The Tequila Moon is a vibrant sensation for your taste buds following an array of sushi choices.
