Looks like you don't have to be a reality star to host at a party in Las Vegas anymore... you can add pro-skater to that bill as well. After all, they make more cameos in movies, music videos, TV shows and events than these reality stars (not to mention their line of work is a lot more respectable). This Friday night at
Blush Boutique Nightclub, Tony Hawk, the undisputed legend of modern skateboarding, hosts an event whose proceeds will all go toward a great cause.
"Stand Up for Skateparks," a touring event that benefits the Tony Hawk Foundation, stops at
Blush Boutique Nightclub this week where DJ Aero is set to provide the music. While Tony Hawk may be hosting the event, expect a lot more pro-skaters as well as A-listers to be at the event. Proceeds all go towards giving kids a solid place to skate in cities that may not have the money to produce a park. We doubt there will be any displays inside the club, but if this event draws as many skaters as we think it will, you can expect to see a lot going on down the Vegas Strip.
