Matthew Dear Live at Vanguard this Friday

by Clubplanet
11.01.2010

The raw, innovative, master of electronic and avant-garde pop music, Matthew Dear, will be performing live at Vanguard in LA. Mixing cheerful dance tracks, with strange blankets of sounds, Dear creates his own blend of indie music. Matthew’s music has been at times compared to the likes of Talking Heads, Brian Eno, Adonis, and he even listed David Bowie as an influence. It’s hard to create a new sound in the 21st century, but Dear makes it look easy. Seeing him perform live at Vanguard on Friday, November 5th, won’t just be a great time, it’ll be legendary.

Helping Matthew make this concert into a full-on party is a DJ set with Ghostly International, Billy Noorlag, and Bryan Ling. There will also be a patio party hosted by Infamy the Party with Premium G, Luvtek, and Froskees. Doors open at 10 p.m. and if you get to Vanguard before midnight you can get in for free!
