Clubplanet Pick of the Week: LIV

Clubplanet Pick of the Week: LIV

LIV is the voyeur’s ultimate fantasy. Many compare it to a Las Vegas nightclub that just happens to be next to the beach. LIV is a part of the recently renovated Fontainebleau Hotel, which draws its own crowd based upon the name alone. The luxury of the high-end hotel translates from its rooms to the club itself with an utterly extravagant décor.

The spacious amphitheatre offers little privacy, as LIV is a visual experience that can be enjoyed from any angle of the Miami nightclub. Boasting 30,000 square feet, the South Beach spot bears resemblance to a chic palace, if palaces housed pulsating surround sound and popular celebrities on a regular basis.

Its plush, white furniture and purple lighting make LIV a setting fit for royalty. Of course with royalty, only the finest garbs are suitable. LIV offers upper-echelon appeal with its crowd of well dressed clubbers.

LIV is where the “IT” crowd goes to party, where flashy celebrities and partiers with the same aura let loose in a high energy environment. With artists like Ciara, Tiesto, and the Crookers slated to perform within the coming week, LIV continues to bring an impressive set of artists, and therefore an impressive guestlist. Surely, your favorite celebs will be spotted in one of the six VIP skyboxes that sit over the bar, in plain view of the dancefloor. VIP luxuries come in the form of European bottle service in addition to a mini-bar in each skybox.

Mini-bars aside, LIV houses three separate bars, just in case you’re having trouble keeping your drink from spilling. Just grab another drink or two and get back to the dancefloor, where the DJs are spinning hip-hop, house, and top 40. So whatever your taste in the latest music, “your song” will definitely play. Good luck resisting the hypnotizing sound and lighting scheme that add to LIV’s lively atmosphere.
