My beautiful Asian date, Michele, was thrilled she could walk up and touch Ne-Yo’s hand while he performed. I was thrilled to hear Sam Moore perform “Soul Man,” one of my favorite songs of all time! We were both thrilled to be surrounded by 1,000 beautiful and philanthropic people dancing up a storm and bidding on fabulous gifts and trips. We could only be at one place – Denise Rich’s Angel Ball – by far the most thrilling social event of the year. I long for the day that Denise receives the Nobel Prize for Philanthropy for all the work she has done for Cancer research. Now that would be the thrill of a lifetime. She deserves it.
