Lazaro Casanova Plays Back Door Bamby

by Clubplanet

From his early days as an indie-rock DJ at the once popular but now defunct Revolver weekly parties, Lazaro Casanova has come a long way, and the kid's only 24. Next came a successful stint as a hard-nose electro DJ/producer touring around the nation with MSTRKRFT and selling out shows in Mexico, but soon enough he really found his niche.

The Lazaro Casanova of the past is no more, and now you can find him playing clubs like Space, Mansion and this week Back Door Bamby at The Vagabond. That's right people, the kid's all about house and he's currently one of the most promising names in the game out of Magic City. This Saturday night he plays The Vagabond for the first time, and it's definitely going to be a show to remember.

It took Casanova quite some time to get his name noticed in tech-house, but thanks in part to his emerging label, petFood, and a Wednesday night residency at one of Miami's best weekly parties, Tropicasa with Oscar G., Casanova's resume is beginning to really take shape. He's fresh off a European tour, playing Spain, Italy and Switzerland, but definitely ready to tear through a set of groove-filled tracks.
