While its design is extremely modern, during renovations Viscuso maintained many of the alluring architectural elements of the building from when it was first constructed. To maintain its austere and ultimately classic look, the original marble staircase, brass railing, art-deco façade and Italian-designed ceiling were all kept in their original design from the 1930s.
Kress serves as both a restaurant and an entertainment venue. Starting from the top is a luxurious rooftop lounge with breathtaking 360-degree views of the entire city of Los Angeles, including a view of the notorious Hollywood sign—something every star struck party-goer loves to see, especially while lounging in one of their luxe cabanas.
Below you’ll find a full-service restaurant headed by executive Chef Travis Kamiyama. The creations coming out of this Asian-inspired kitchen include the most deliciously fresh sushi to cure even the hungriest of stomachs.
