Wondering whether or not you should head out of town this Columbus Day weekend? Well here’s one reason for NYC residents to stay in town and another reason for out of towners to plan a trip to NYC: BowieBall.
This wildly popular charity event celebrating none other than glam-rock king David Bowie is coming to Santos Party House on Sunday, October 10th. The night starts at 8 p.m. with a showing of the film The Hunger followed by a night of dancing (to Bowie mash-ups, of course) provided by some of NYC’s best DJs including Michael T (Motherfucker), Jake B (Diesel), Rich King, June D (White Doves), Prince Terrence (Hussle Club) and Jess (Trash!).
There will be tons of surprises including an extensive list of live singers, dancers, stilt walkers and hair-overs by Bumble and Bumble. The dress code is simple: anything Bowie-related, which means you should probably invest in some glitter, a space-age jumpsuit and some silver body paint for this event. A special guest will be judging the costume contest, so be sure to go all-out for this one.
Come find out why Nylon Magazine has dubbed BowieBall the “it affair” and take advantage of one of the few opportunities you’ll get to channel your inner glam-rock superstar. Get your tickets now because this is one of NYC’s most popular events and it WILL sell out.
