Party of One: The Loner’s Guide to A Successful New Year’s Eve

Party of One: The Loner’s Guide to A Successful New Year’s Eve

Do you tend to stray away from the social scene? Are you easily annoyed by gatherings including large groups of people? Do you often find yourself alone? If you answered yes to any of these questions, we here at Club Planet have just classified you as a “loner”. Yes, you, who’s reading this article. It’s cool though; do not freak out!

Trust when we say that, as a loner with little social scene knowledge, you have the upper hand, being that you will not have a burdening decision to make, as your list of parties to attend for New Year’s Eve will not be all that long; ours on the other hand is quite extensive.

So, we are going to give you options.

If you are looking for great music to showcase some of your best dance moves (or if you just want to sit back and enjoy the beats), the nightclub scene is the way to go. We are always up for a good club experience. New Year’s Eve will boast the best nightclub events, as venues are sure to bring in world-renowned DJs to host their New Year’s Eve events.

But maybe the club scene is a bit much for your taste. If you are interested in great music without the chaotic atmosphere of a nightclub, a lounge-type venue is the quintessential happy medium. Lounges boast subtle music, great food and a happening ambiance. A lounge would be the ideal place to bring in the New Year with close friends and family, while enjoying light music and drinks. Also, be sure to check your local city happenings for a more festival-type event.

Perhaps a dining experience better suits your style. If you are a foodie at heart, this is a great way to celebrate New Year’s Eve. Without a doubt, most restaurants will feature a special evening menu for New Year’s Eve—get your reservations in early!  Whether it is a party-of-one type of night (or maybe you decide to bring a few along for the fun), dining out is always a great way to take-in the New Year.

So, New Year’s Eve is just around the corner, and it’s time to become part of the party—anyways, who doesn’t enjoy the company of great friends while having a few drinks here and there. We know that deep down inside you just want to let loose. Or maybe it’s be best to ring in New Year’s Eve all by yourself, with some pizza and a beer in hand; hey, that actually doesn’t too bad!
