Remember when M.I.A. promised us all a free show after her HARD disaster this summer at Governor’s Island? Well, although her live show might not be the greatest and her latest album even less of a crowd-pleaser, she is gaining a few points for keeping her word and putting on a free show for fans next Wednesday (October 6th) at Brooklyn Bowl.
The first-come-first-serve lineup begins at 7 p.m. and doors open at 9:30 p.m. so if you’re not planning on attending the show, we suggest steering clear of the area around that time. For those of you who were in attendance for her mess of a show this summer, we’re sorry to say that you get no special treatment for this one. Either come out to the show and wait in line with everyone else, or make other plans because, let’s be honest, this show could be just as bad as the others she’s done this summer.
