The Best Hotel Bars in Las Vegas

The Best Hotel Bars in Las Vegas

Las Vegas is the playground for adults who can handle the heavy party atmosphere. After seeing The Hangover many of us would like to unleash rage upon the City of Sin, sans the satchel. Here are a few spots for you to check out for some drinks that you’ll remember in the morning...hopefully.

Best Bar in Las Vegas: Aurora
3900 S Las Vegas Blvd.

Don’t listen to people that tell you to “Stay away from the light.” The light is exactly where you want to be. Aurora is a neon paradise for those who enjoy a laidback ambience with an energetic feel. Aurora features an eccentric lighting scheme on the ceilings and walls to visually arouse its guests with colorful aesthetics. Open 24 hours a day, Aurora’s lights compete with the sun, although you can’t get a golden tan inside Aurora. Take a few sips of your favorite blend and enjoy the Northern Lights.

Best Bar in Las Vegas: Voodoo Lounge
3700 W Flamingo Rd.

Located atop the 51stories of what is the well-known Rio Hotel & Casino, the view of the party and strip are superb for having a few drinks. The Voodoo Lounge offers indoor and outdoor options for the preference of its guests. Be sure to stop by on Thursdays for the Voodoo Risin’, the industry party where the music consists of Top 40, House, & Hip Hop. Head up to the second level of the outdoor party by taking a trek up the 40,000-pound staircase located on the rooftop. Voodoo Lounge is the upscale spot for adults who enjoy outdoor fun.

Best Bar in Las Vegas: Red Square
3950 S Las Vegas Blvd.

Yes, this is the bar with the headless man outside. That man happens to be communist revolutionary Vladimir Lenin and he adds to the Russian influence that comes with entering Red Square. Full of grandeur, Red Square even houses a chandelier from the Russian Embassy in Poland, a chandelier that matches one also owned by Michael Jackson. With a variety of vodka choices chilled at 5 degrees, drinkers can find their preference in Russian alcohol consumption. No mixers here. The bartenders infuse the vodka with fruit flavors right before your eyes, for a sweet and authentic taste to enjoy the way Lenin and the Bolsheviks intended.

Best Bar in Las Vegas: V Bar
3335 N Las Vegas Blvd.

Owned by the same guys that operate New York’s Lotus and L.A.’s Sunset Room, the V Bar in Vegas is a chic, urban environment, minus the showy extras that most of Sin City’s bars embody. Cozy and warm, the vibe in V Bar is unparallel to any other on the strip. Not to mention it was voted "Best Hotel Bar" by the readers of City Search. V Bar has established its longevity in Las Vegas, going five years and counting, the modifications and constant reinvention of the brand has kept the V Bar in a conversation that many bars fall out of within months.

Best Bar in Las Vegas: Shadow Bar
3570 S Las Vegas Blvd.

Bring luxury and entertainment into your drinking experience. The Shadow Bar features a neutral color scheme with cosmopolitan décor, plush seating, and an exotic drink menu. You don’t just get your drinks handed to you though, that’s for the amateurs. The bartenders here pull out all the tricks to keep their drinkers entertained. From doing back flips to juggling bottles the servers put on a showcase for hand-eye coordination, something that drunks cannot relate to. Benefit the view from your cushy seats and enjoy the silhouetted shadow dancers arouse the crowd. At ease gentlemen. Not to mention, the Shadow Bar is connected to the No. 1 club in the country, PURE. Highly regarded by E! Entertainment, “good times” is all the clock reads at Caesar’s. And yes, the real Caesar has had a few drinks here, and he loved it.
