Louis Brings in Electro Remix Wizard Harvard Bass

Electro is still alive and kicking, even though many of you may think that it has been dead for quite some time. Sure it seems as though MSTRKRFT and Justice may have had their time to shine already, but we feel that there’s another resurgence just around the corner, thanks to names like Boyz Noize and Felix Cartal who haven’t really let up on the sound (even though Steve Aoki kind of gave up and is doing his new thing, which we like to call screamo-electro). Louis Bar and Lounge inside of the Gansevoort Hotel is hosting their own weekly electro night, Misfit Fridays, and this week they’re bringing in a young face that’ll definitely get the crowd going with his unique electro remixes and crafty cuts.

On Friday, August 20th, Harvard Bass is the special musical guest at Misfit Fridays. We will say that the electro this guy spins isn’t as obnoxious as some of the other artists out there. Sure it could get a little annoying at times still, but at least he’s not jumping on stage with a mic in hand head banging. Misfit Fridays at Louis Bar and Lounge is known to bring in a sexy crowd, so expect the same for this guy’s set.
