We’re not sure if you forgot by now, La Roux’s scheduled show at Mansion last week was cancelled. There wasn’t any official word as to why she didn’t show, but it’s interesting to know that she’s actually in South Florida next week and playing a very popular live music venue that’s known for bringing in music acts with the most buzz. Culture Room hosts the UK pop sensation, and it’s a much easier venue for them to fill up than the colossal Mansion in South Beach.
La Roux is one of those acts where you really can’t tell if they’re going to be a one hit wonder, or if they’ll stick around for the long run. Their futuristic glam-pop is something that the electro kids are eating up, and it all started with that colorful video of theirs. The show this coming week in South Florida will definitely bring in their big fans, but will there be enough to fill up the room?
