DJ Epps is mostly known for his involvement with the Alizé Mix Squad, the hip-hop crew G-Unit, and his work with Shadyville DJs, but now he’s also a host at a popular nightlife venue in Miami. Every Tuesday night he hosts what the club considers the “best open mic in Miami.” It’s always a riot when there’s an open mic, so if you’re a rapper, a singer or a bit of both, show up at The Living Room and be prepared to show off your goods. Stone Groove at The Vagabond is another open mic held on Tuesday nights, but it’s more along the artsy side and is considered mostly for spoken word poets.
Although the flyer really doesn’t state who this open mic is intended for at The Living Room, judging by the host we think it’s more hip-hop and R&B related. If you’re thinking of attending the event, remember that in order to step foot into this place it’s either dress up or wait outside, dress code here is always strictly enforced.
