NYC Nightclub SL Denies Chris Brown and Bow Wow

Just because you’re famous, doesn’t mean you’re always welcome at New York City’s top clubs. Chris Brown and Bow Wow found this out the hard way on Wednesday night.

First, the two showed up (uninvited) to a listening party for Drake’s new album at MSR studios. They then decided to head over to SL, but were denied entry at the door. According to a source quoted on Page Six, the rappers showed up with a huge crew. Whether the boys were turned away because of the size of their group, or for other reasons (like Chris Brown's not-so-spotless reputation) remains unclear.

The duo and their entourage then tried their luck at Greenhouse, succeeded, and spent the night partying with Brandy and her brother Ray J.

SL is a pretty small place and packs a decent sized crowd, so we wouldn't be surprised if the size of their crew had something to do with the matter. Regardless, here's a note to Brown and Bow Wow: next time you plan to crash a party or get into one of NYC's tougher clubs, it's best to come correct.
