Although the '90s are known to have produced some of the worst fashion statements in recent decades, as well as spawn some of the worst rock bands of all time, it was the best era for hip-hop music. Biggie, Tupac and bands like Tribe Called Quest all flourished in the '90s, which is why we appreciate it when clubs decide to have '90s nights dedicated to the biggest hip-hop hits of the 90s. This week LAVO is hosting their "Rewind To The 90s" party and bringing in a very special musical guest that was a big part of that era.
Tomorrow night for "Rewind to the 90s" LAVO is bringing in Biz Markie as the very special entertainer of the night. He’s only set to be the "host" of the event for now, but you know if there’s a mic close enough to him he’ll jump on and hit us with a verse or two… it’s in their blood! This is a good alternative event for those that are a little tired or taxed of the electronic sounds this past weekend.
