Top Hip-Hop Parties in Miami

Miami’s nightlife scene is ruled by the DJ, and that’s exactly why our live music scene isn’t on par with other large markets like New York City, Los Angeles and Chicago. However, some of the best DJs in the world visit us on a weekly basis, thus giving our clubs the edge in popularity. But while we may be one of the best markets for house music in the nation, we also have some seriously good hip-hop parties. Every club makes sure that they have a night for the true hip-hop and R&B heads, so we’ve decided to make things a little easier for you by compiling a short list of the best hip-hop parties in Miami.

Top Hip-Hop Party in Miami
We Rock Hip-Hop Fridays @ Mansion
1235 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139

What can we say about We Rock Hip-Hop? Let’s see… well, it is one of the best hip-hop parties that we’ve ever been to, and we’re talking on a national scale. First of all it’s at Mansion nightclub, one of the biggest and most popular nightlife establishments in Miami, but for them to deliver this caliber of party on a weekly basis is insane. Each and every week they bring in special guests to host the party and perform live. Previous names include Diddy, Outkast and even Lil Wayne. If you’re looking for a great hip-hop party that definitely won’t let you down, this is it people. Click here for more information and tickets.

Eye Candy Saturdays @ Dream
1532 Washington Avenue, Miami, FL 33139

Dream is known to bring in some pretty big names in electronic music, but you may not know that they also host one of the most popular hip-hop parties in Miami, Eye Candy Saturdays. Cruise by the club on Washington Avenue on any given Saturday night, and you’ll see just how popular this place is. There’s always a mob of people out front just dying to get in to party. They too bring in the occasional special guest to perform or host, but it’s mostly about the sound and setup at this place. Dream isn’t the biggest nightclub in Miami, but sometimes that’s exactly what the crowd wants from their hip-hop party. Click here for more information

Top Hip-Hop Party in Miami
Saturdays @ Cameo
1445 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139

Once the Opium Group took over Cameo nightclub, they did away with the party formatting they had, meaning that they ended the infamous Flash Fridays hip-hop party that used to compete with We Rock Hip Hop. Why would they do such a thing? Easy, they don’t want to directly compete with one of their other venues. So naturally they moved the hip-hop party to Saturday nights where the crowd that can’t make it out on Fridays quickly floods the velvet rope to get a glimpse inside. This party is only starting to pick up momentum, but quite the momentum it is. It’s always slammed pack and brings in the sexiest ladies that are ready to shake it all up inside. Click here for more information.

Top Hip-Hop Party in Miami
Champion Sound @ The Electric Pickle
2826 N. Miami Avenue, Miami, FL 33127

Now this is the type of hip-hop party that we like. It’s low-key, it’s in downtown, and it features some DJs that definitely know how to set a consistent groove up that lasts the entire night. Champion Sound Wednesdays at The Electric Pickle brings in DJs A-Train, Mr. Brown and Sire Esq. and these guys are the perfect DJing team for this party. They spin nothing but the best in funk, soul, hip-hop and classics. Don’t expect any of that commercial radio-friendly bullshit at this place. It’s all about keeping the crowd moving to sultry hip-hop beats, meaning that they like to serve up those old-school tracks. This is definitely one of the top weekly hip-hop parties in Miami. Top Hip-Hop Party in Miami
SHAKE!! @ The Vagabond
30 NE 14th Street, Miami, FL 33132

When SHAKE!! first kicked up at the Vagabond we weren’t sure exactly how they’d do, considering that their Friday night party was kicking ass and Saturday’s Back Door Bamby event is legendary in the city. But soon enough it starting drawing its niche crowd and now it has become one of the best in Miami. There’s always some kind of good theme or special guest week in and week out, and if you’re a fan of dubstep, then this is definitely the party for you. The outside area is always the chill spot, but creep on inside and you’ll be slapped in the face with nothing but non-stop energy-filled bass. Click here for more information
