Top Hip-Hop Nightclubs in Las Vegas

Hip-Hop is a lifestyle, culture if you may, that was created in the ‘70s, fusing rap, DJing, style, beatboxing, etc. It was in 2006 that Nas, famed artist, announced the name of his eighth album, Hip-Hop is Dead, stating that the uniquely produced, thought provoking lyrics of the hip-hop genre were being saturated with unworthy melodies that depicted self-praise, money and the defamation of women. The bold statement made by Nas stands somewhat untrue, as artists such as himself still secure the name of hip-hop. So, if you are a true hip-hop aficionado, be sure to make an appearance at one (or all) of these widely proclaimed hip-hop venues on The Strip.

Top Hip-Hop Nightclub in Las Vegas: Drai’s
3595 Las Vegas Boulevard South, Las Vegas, NV 89109

If you’re up for an all-nighter, Drai’s is the spot for you. Located inside Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall & Saloon, Drai’s hip-hop getaway opens its doors at 1 a.m.—perfect for those needing a power nap before the continuation of their night. Envision: a red-themed room, black framed bar, leopard embroidered chairs and lounging sofas, dimmed lighting, exotic palms and mirrors adorned throughout—think classy with a touch of sultriness. There is no doubt about it that afterhours at Drai’s will surely bring forth the animal in you.

Top Hip-Hop Nightclub in Las Vegas: Tryst
3131 Las Vegas Boulevard South, Las Vegas, NV 89109

Plopped inside the Wynn Las Vegas, Tryst sets the bar up high, literally, with its 90-foot cascading waterfall. The ultra nightclub offers a variety of rooms that include: a posh lounge that encompasses a gold, beige and brown theme, a spacious dance floor an exclusive VIP area with a dance pole, a main bar, offering the best in lounging opulence and the north and south patios, located alongside the captivating waterfall. Whichever area you decide to venture into, you are sure to experience the sounds of one of the venue's best resident DJs (all of which spin some solid hip-hop beats).

Top Hip-Hop Nightclub in Las Vegas: The Bank
3600 Las Vegas Boulevard South, Las Vegas, NV 89109

Located inside the iconic Bellagio Resort & Casino, The Bank has garnered a reputation for promoting a service exclusively reserved for a crowd of high caliber. Resident DJs David Christian Hornsby and Eddie McDonald will “wow” you with their impressive hip-hop mixes. The music alone will entice you, but the grand stair cases, diamond-draped chandeliers and overlapping gold box designs have been set in place to awe you a bit more. This venue screams expensive!

Top Hip-Hop Nightclub in Las Vegas: Pure
3570 Las Vegas Boulevard South, Las Vegas, NV 89109

Caesar’s Palace provides Las Vegas tourists and locals, alike, an ultra-exclusive night out at its posh Pure nightclub. The ethereal escape offers a multiple-room venue, boasting the utmost in style and sophistication. Walking into the nightclub, the naughty atmosphere of Las Vegas feels more subtle due to the all-white heavenly décor of Pure’s main room. For those willing to plop down some plastic and be VIP, there is the Red Room. Here you will see warm reds adorned throughout, fine wood and exotic leather furnishings, and many, many bottles of expensive champagne. Outside, the terrace is furnished with all-white couches, a liquor-filled bar, and fabric-draped cabanas for those seeking a more intimate experience. Live the star-studded life for one night while you dance to a modern spin on hip-hop.

Top Hip-Hop Nightclub in Las Vegas: XS
3131 Las Vegas Boulevard South, Las Vegas, NV 89109

Once again we find ourselves at the fabulous Wynn Las Vegas where XS nightclub, along with the above mentioned, Tryst nightclub, resides. Both venues share the same resident DJs, assuring you the best in hip-hop as well as other genres. XS provides a more relaxed feel than that of Tryst and caters to an elite audience. The club stands tall with gold embellished pillars surrounded by well-kept furnishings. Don’t miss out on this exclusive hot spot.
