Every summer the Hollywood Bowl puts on one great musical (this year it's RENT) and invites progressive artists to play concerts in the historic amphitheater. Some of the shows for this summer have been announced and we are more excited than usual!
The Eagles played an outstanding show last night at the Bowl and coming up this Sunday Fight of the Conchords bring their hilarious music to the stage.
But the real action won't take place until the end of June when the ladies take over stage with Goldfrapp, Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club featuring Omara Portuondo and tUnE-yArDs and will share the bill on the 27. In July, Kings of Leon, She & Him, The Swell Season and The Bird and The Bee will all play this amazing outdoor stage and in July John Mayer, Dave Matthews Band and BB King entertain LA.
What concert are we most looking forward to? That honor has to go to August 29th's mega show including Yacht, Chromeo AND The Chemical Brothers!!! Buy your ticket now kids, this show will be an epic way to round out your summer.
