The legendary Chicago nightclub, Crobar, will be celebrating its last night as a staple in the city’s nightlife scene on April 17th with its “The Last Dance” party. Made famous by celebrity clientele that includes the likes of Billy Corgan and athletes like Dennis Rodman, Derrick Rose and Amare Stoudamire, it comes as a shock to many, but it has lasted quite some time in a business where nightclubs usually don’t see past their second birthday.
Crobar opened in Chicago in the early 90s and has definitely seen its fair share of epic parties. After the success in Chicago took off, management decided to expand the Crobar concept into other markets including Miami, New York City and Buenos Aires. As of right now only Crobar Buenos Aires still stands strong, although the infamous South Florida hotspot Exit 66 is part of the Crobar family.
